Parking Reservations

Welcome to the Coolidge Corner Guest House, a city inn with the charm of a country bed & breakfast! We are centrally located, just a five minute walk to the nearest subway (MBTA) station, and a 10 minute walk to nearly 50 restaurants and shops! Most guests choose to leave their cars at home, but if you choose to drive, please be advised that we have a limited number of parking spaces and they must be reserved in advance. There is no overnight street parking allowed in Brookline and if you choose to leave your car on the street between 1:00am and 10:00am you may get a $30 parking ticket.

On-site tandem parking:

If you would like to reserve on-site parking, you can do so when making your reservation or by contacting us once your reservation is made. Please note that guests with cars park in tandem (behind one another).

How does it work? We communicate with guests who have cars in the evening to ensure all cars are well ordered in our driveway for easy access the following morning. Guests may be asked to move their car upon request, or can have the inn staff move their car, which many guests do by leaving their car keys with us.  Guest House staff are fully insured and licensed drivers.

On-site parking costs $9 per night for guests who book direct; and $18 for guests who book using a third party site.

Off-site parking:

If tandem parking is not your thing, no worries! We have several alternative nearby options:

  • ***Street Parking. ($30). Directly across from the Inn. Though there is no overnight street parking allowed in Brookline, the penalty is only a $30 ticket. Keep in mind, you may not be ticketed at all and you will not be towed. This option may be preferable, as you can park just across the street from the inn and there is always a chance you will not get a ticket. If you do get a ticket, however, the inn is not responsible.
  • Town Overnight Lots. $10. You can get a $10 overnight parking permit from the town, which allows you to park in a specific lot from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. You buy the pass from a machine at the nearest lot and leave it on your dashboard. The closest lot to us is the Webster Street lot, which is about a 5-10 minute walk from the Guest House. You can find more information about overnight parking at https://www.brooklinema.gov/323/Guest-Overnight-Parking

  • Spothero. Rates and locations vary $10 – $40. Spothero is a website (and app) that connects you to available parking spots in our neighborhood. Visit spothero.com and search for spots near “Coolidge Corner Guest House, Brookline, MA”. Enter the date and times you plan to park in the spot, then choose from the available options and press “book now” to pay for your spot online. Some spaces allow you to come and go during the hours of your reservations, while others do not. Be sure to check the specifications of your space before you arrive.
  • Courtyard Marriott. $70. The Courtyard Marriott on Webster Street offers garage access for $70 per night. There is also a shorter term hourly rate.
