Parking Reservations

Welcome to the Coolidge Corner Guest House, a city inn with the charm of a country bed & breakfast! We are centrally located, just a five minute walk to the nearest subway (MBTA) station, and a 10 minute walk to nearly 50 restaurants and shops! Most guests choose to leave their cars at home, but if you choose to drive, please be advised that we have a limited number of parking spaces and they must be reserved in advance. There is no overnight street parking allowed in Brookline and if you choose to leave your car on the street between 1:00am and 10:00am you may get a $30 parking ticket.

On-site tandem parking:

If you would like to reserve on-site parking, you can do so when making your reservation or by contacting us once your reservation is made. Please note that guests with cars park in tandem (behind one another).

How does it work? We communicate with guests who have cars in the evening to ensure all cars are well ordered in our driveway for easy access the following morning. Guests may be asked to move their car upon request, or can have the inn staff move their car, which many guests do by leaving their car keys with us.  Guest House staff are fully insured and licensed drivers.

On-site parking costs $9 per night for guests who book direct; and $18 for guests who book using a third party site.

Off-site parking:

If tandem parking is not your thing, no worries! We have several alternative nearby options:

  • 209 Harvard Street. $20. This lot is just around the corner, between Alton Place and Stearns Rd. It has a drop-off system with instructions at the booth. Simply pull into the driveway and follow the directions. (.2 miles away/ 4 min walk)
  • Town Overnight Lots. $10. You can get a $10 overnight parking permit from the town, which allows you to park in a specific lot from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. You buy the pass from a machine at the nearest lot and leave it on your dashboard. The closest lot to us is the Webster Street lot, which is about a 5-10 minute walk from the Guest House. You can find more information about overnight parking at http://www.brooklinema.gov/323/Guest-Overnight-Parking (.3 miles away/ 6 minute walk)
  • Courtyard Marriott. $65. The Courtyard Marriott on Webster Street offers underground garage access for $65 per night. There is also a shorter term hourly rate. (.7 miles away/ 10 minute walk)
  • ***Street Parking. ($30). Though there is no overnight parking in Brookline, the penalty is only a $30 ticket. This option may be preferable, as you can park just across from the inn and there is always a chance you will not get a ticket. You will not be towed.  If you do get a ticket, however, the inn is not responsible.
